What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry we receive the details you enter in the form: name, email, phone number (optional), event date, number of guests, location, dietary requirements and your message. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and, if you book, to plan and deliver the service. The legal basis is your consent and the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b).

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Booking details are kept for as long as required by Spanish tax and accounting law.

Who processes it

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under data processing agreements and, where data leaves the EU, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, the enquiry database, spam protection and forwarding of email.
• Google (Gmail) — the mailbox where enquiries arrive and from which we reply.
• Resend — delivery of our email replies to you (servers in the EU).

We never sell your data or share it for marketing.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits; it does not use cookies or collect personal data such as your IP address for tracking.

Spam protection

The enquiry form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a real person is submitting it. Turnstile processes limited technical data (such as your IP address and browser signals) solely for this purpose and does not use it for advertising. SeeCloudflare’s Turnstile privacy notice.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@privatechefelliot.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
